1. Hold the M button + D-pad’s Up/Down to Increase/Decrease the Master Volume. (10 levels in total
*There will be a beep when adjusting to the maximum/minimum level.
2. Hold the M button + D-pad’s Left/Right to Increase game volume while Decreasing voice chat volume/Decrease game volume while Increasing voice chat volume.
*There will be a beep when adjusting to the maximum/middle/minimum level.
3. Microphone Mute Function: When your headphone/earphone is plugged in, tap the Microphone Mute button, the indicator will become solid red and the Microphone Mute function is On. Tap again the Microphone Mute button, the indicator will go out and the Microphone Mute function is Off (Default).
3. BACK BUTTONS SETTINGS
1. Set R4/L4 button value: Hold the M+R4/L4 buttons simultaneously for 3s. When the indicator blinks slowly, tap the button you want to map to R4/L4. The indicator turns solid to indicate L4/R4 button value is set.
2. Cancel R4/L4 button value: Hold the M+R4/L4 buttons simultaneously for 3s. When the indicator blinks slowly, tap R4/L4 button. The indicator turns solid to indicate L4/R4 button value is canceled.
4. JOYSTICKS & TRIGGERS CALIBRATION
1. Hold the View + Menu + Xbox buttons until the USB-C cable is inserted into the PC’s USB port. The indicator will slowly blink white.
2. Ensure that LT & RT and the left & right joysticks are not touched. Then Press the A button. The indicator will go out.
3. Press LT & RT to their maximum travel. Rotate the joysticks at their maximum angles for 3 times. Press the A button. The indicator becomes solid white to indicate the calibration is over.
4. After the calibration is over, it’s required to unplug and re-plug the controller before using.
5. CUSTOMIZATION VIA “GAMESIR NEXUS” SOFTWARE
Download “GameSir Nexus” software at Microsoft Store on Xbox/PC
Use the "GameSir Nexus" software to upgrade firmware and create 3 custom profiles. The profile includes button mapping, joystick & trigger zones adjustment, vibration level control, etc.
*If the R4/L4 button value set in the software is different from the manual setting, the latest setting shall prevail, and the former will be directly overwritten.

Q: G7 SE/ G7 HE doesn’t turn on at all when connected to the Xbox console at all, what do I do?
A: Please try all the 6 troubleshooting steps below:
1. Performing a full shutdown of the Xbox can sometimes restore controller detection for other models. When the console is on, hold the power button for 10+ seconds on the console until it forces shutdown. Unplug the AC cord for 10-15 seconds to ensure it's off. Replug and power on, wait for the cold reboot to finish, then it will probably get connected. **(Note: This is the method that works in most cases, if after boot cycle it still doesn't work, we suggest do more such testing)**
2. Please try another USB cable, And make sure the cable is plugged all the way in.
3. Tap the Xbox button on the controller while connected.
4. While connected, Hold the Xbox button on the controller for 5 seconds + to launch
5. The PID recognition to our controller is probably not successful, while connected, hold Home+M Buttons for 3 seconds ( there should be an indicator sound ) then replug the controller in order to switch to original PID and restore the device recognition function.
6. Hold Home+Share buttons for 3 seconds while connected to force switch to Xinput.
Q: G7 SE/ G7 HE is disconnecting constantly.
A: 1.Please try another USB cable, And make sure the cable is plugged all the way in.

Q:My G7 SE/ G7 HE is having trouble detected by a PC:
A: Please try these 4 troubleshooting methods down below:
1.Please try another USB cable, And make sure the cable is plugged all the way in.
2.Plugging it into different USB ports, and please make sure you're connecting it to the back of your PC. ( Directly into motherboard)
3. In Device Manager, uninstall the driver, then scan for hardware changes.

Q: Is it normal to have stick drift out of the box for G7 SE when I put the initial deadzone on the Nexus app to 0?
A: Yes, it's a perfect 0 deadzone in physical sense so the stick will become super sensitive. Set it to 3~5 should make it back to normal.
Q: My mic/headset audio doesn't work when connected to G7 SE/ G7 HE.
A: Make sure the mic is not muted and the volume is set, and the polling rate setting in GameSir Nexus on PC should be locked at 250hz to avoid potential problems:

8. Can I switch controller profiles?
Yes, you can use simple button combinations to switch them.
Press the M + A/B/X/Y buttons in sequence to switch to the corresponding profile.
M + Y = Default M + B = Profile 1
M + A = Profile 2 M + X = Profile 3
9. How to control the volume when wearing a 3.5mm headset?
