Controller upgrade steps:

1. Open the upgrade tool
2. Press Xbox + Menu button while connecting controller to PC using a cable.
3. Click install firmware when the status reads as online(green)

Dongle firmware upgrade steps:

1. Open the upgrade tool
2. After dongle is connected with Controller, Press Xbox + Menu button until the status reads as online
3. Click install firmware and wait for the process to finish
