Mode Switch Operation If you accidentally switch to another input mode while connecting the controller to your PC via cable or wireless dongle: Hold the View button + Menu button to cycle among XInput Mode, NS Mode and other device modes.

Reminders:

  • XInput Mode features a green indicator light. It is the most compatible mode for PC wired or dongle connections.
  • GameSir Connect requires XInput Mode. (This requirement does not apply to Nova Lite.)

Configure Generic Controller in Steam

  1. Launch Steam. Navigate to Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings.
  2. Tick Enable Steam Input for Generic Gamepads, then click Begin Setup.

Important tip: When prompted to press the Home/Guide button and Share/Capture button during device input setup, skip these prompts by pressing the A button.

The trigger lock function is controlled via firmware. You may need to toggle the switch several times for the controller to register the setting.

Unfortunately, XInput mode over Bluetooth is not supported on most controllers due to restrictions set by Microsoft. Only Nintendo Switch pairing mode is available for Bluetooth connections.

We recommend using a wired connection or the wireless dongle. These options support wireless XInput and deliver low-latency performance. If you prefer to continue using Bluetooth, third-party software such as Steam Input can be used to enable functionality.

Hold the M button + Menu (+) button for 5 seconds to turn off or dim the lighting.

Each GameSir controller can only pair with its original bundled wireless dongle.

Please try using the reset pinhole located on the rear of the controller.

Microsoft imposes certain restrictions, so XInput functionality is unavailable via Bluetooth connection.

For PC gaming, we recommend using the official USB wireless receiver included with the controller. This supports wireless XInput mode while maintaining low latency. If you prefer to stay in Bluetooth Mode, launch your games through Steam to utilize Steam’s built-in controller mapping features.

We do not sell separate spare parts such as controller internal components, replacement buttons, USB ports, standalone receivers, or other internal repair parts. All original bundled accessories included with controllers are not available for individual purchase.

The Xbox console enforces a 250 Hz polling rate limit, so the 1000 Hz option is only available on PC.

Polling Rate & Input Latency Technical Explanation

Polling rate refers to how frequently a controller samples and transmits input signals to the host device. Latency is the total delay spanning the polling cycle and actual input delivery.

Polling rate acts as the theoretical minimum latency ceiling:

  • 125Hz polling rate = 8ms per polling cycle; the theoretical lowest possible input latency is 8ms
  • 1000Hz polling rate = 1ms per polling cycle; the theoretical lowest possible input latency is 1ms

Real-world latency will always exceed this theoretical baseline, determined mainly by the controller’s microcontroller (MCU) processing efficiency and installed firmware. Circuit board design is another critical factor, including PCB layout quality and electronic component grade.

Full End-to-End Input Signal Pipeline

  1. You trigger an input on the controller
  2. The controller’s polling mechanism detects the input signal
  3. The MCU receives and processes the captured input data
  4. Processed data is transmitted to the connected host (console, mobile phone, PC)
  5. The host registers the input and relays it to your game or software application

Polling Rate Explanation Polling rate refers to the frequency at which the controller checks for input signals. Polling is the process of sampling and detecting the current input state. A higher polling rate delivers more timely and accurate input responses.

Multiple variables can influence polling rate test results, including the following:

  1. PC System Load For stable test results, run the test under near-idle conditions with low CPU, memory and disk activity.

  2. USB Port and Microcontroller Factors include USB standard (USB 2.0 / 3.0), controller hardware managing the port, and the number & load of other connected devices.

  3. USB Hubs Whether a hub is used, the hub’s performance level, and the load from other peripherals connected to the hub.

  4. Controller Configuration Gyro toggle status, dead zone settings, installed firmware version and other custom parameters.

  5. Testing Software and Version Always use the latest version of testing tools to avoid known bugs. Recommended tools: XInput Tester and Polling.exe.

  6. Test Methodology The speed and consistency of joystick rotation performed during the test.

Summary: Due to these numerous variables, minor deviations in polling rate results between different PCs or separate test runs are normal.

The turbo function is activated. Hold the M button together with the target button to disable turbo for that single button. Alternatively, double-tap the M button to turn off turbo for all assigned buttons.

Hold the M button + A button. The controller will vibrate to indicate that the face button layout has been swapped.

No worries, all GameSir controllers are equipped with overcharging protection, whether used with a charging dock or not. Charging will automatically stop once the controller reaches full battery. Normally, the indicator light turns off upon full charge.

Hair Trigger Troubleshooting Check whether Hair Trigger Mode is accidentally enabled. Adaptive Hair Trigger may cause abnormal input behavior that users often mistake as a hardware fault.

Hold the M button together with the problematic trigger (LT or RT) to disable this function.

On Xbox consoles, you can adjust the indicator brightness level. Navigate to Settings > General > Accessibility > Night Mode > Controller Brightness and adjust the brightness to your preference.

Hold the Mode button and press down the left or right joystick button until the controller vibrates. This toggles between Raw Mode (zero dead zone) and Circular joystick trajectory modes.

The rear extra buttons output null inputs by default, which means they carry no assigned function until remapped. You can configure these buttons via the GameSir mobile app, GameSir Connect PC software, or by following the button combination procedures outlined in the user manual.

Quick operation guide:

To assign mappings

  1. Hold the M button + target rear button until the indicator light flashes.
  2. Press the buttons you wish to assign.

To clear mappings

  1. Hold the M button + target rear button until the indicator light flashes.
  2. Press the same rear button again to reset its configuration.

Hold the Logo button + Menu button until the Logo LED flashes green twice. This operation triggers a function reset and clears all custom settings.

Only non-mobile "Designed for Xbox" controllers work on Xbox consoles. If your controller is built for mobile devices or features the GameSir :881 GameSirButton home button logo instead of the Xbox button, official Xbox console support is not guaranteed.

All warranty claims must be facilitated back through the retailer of purchase in accordance with the retailer's returns policies and procedures. Any cost incurred, as a result of returning the product to the retailer of purchase is the full responsibility of the consumer.

Warranty Process:

  1. Create a support ticket by writing to support@gamesir.com. To help us speed up the process, your emails should include: The product name, a detailed description of the product issues, a demonstrative video to clearly show the product issues, and the troubleshooting steps you've tried, and a screenshot of your order with order number indicating the platform you purchased the product from.

  2. Our support team will investigate your ticket and respond to you within 24 hours. (excluding weekends and holidays) (UTC/GMT+08:00, Monday to Friday) and may provide further troubleshooting suggestions.

  3. If the troubleshooting steps we provide do not resolve the issue, please send us detailed feedback along with a video demonstrating your troubleshooting attempts.

  4. After we confirm that your product is faulty and cannot be fixed by troubleshooting, we will request shipping information in order to deliver the replacement product to you to conclude the warranty process. In most cases, return of the faulty unit will not be required.

The bundled promotional Game Pass Ultimate code is only valid for new Game Pass Ultimate members. If you have previously subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, or if you reside in an unsupported region (see https://www.xbox.com/regions), the code cannot be redeemed on your account.

This issue is triggered by iOS’s Shared Gestures function for game controllers.

To disable Shared Gestures and prevent unintended screenshots when using your controller with iPhone or iPad, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings menu on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Navigate to General > Game Controller > Default Controls.
  3. Tap the name of your connected controller.
  4. Scroll down to locate Shared Gestures and turn off the screenshot function.

Solution:

  1. Confirm both the charger and cable support 9 V / 3 A or higher power output.
  2. Adjust the cooling power level following the user manual.
  3. Modify the connection sequence of your phone and charging cable.

Example scenario: If you connect the phone to the controller first, then plug the charger into the controller’s USB‑C port and the cooling fan fails to activate automatically, try the alternative sequence below: Connect the charger to the controller’s USB‑C port → The cooling fan powers on automatically → Connect your phone to the controller last.

Important requirement for X3 Pro Extreme Cold Mode: The charging cable and charger must support a power output of 9 V / 3 A (27 W) or higher.

Hold the View + Menu buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds until the indicator light changes to another lighting state. The specific color varies by controller model; refer to the user manual for details.

You can normally reset each profile in GameSir Nexus. If you cannot access the app or want to ensure a full reset, perform a function reset by holding View button + Mode button + Menu button. The Xbox button LED will blink three times, confirming all profiles and settings have been reset.

If your G7 Pro's trigger loses input, press and hold View + Menu + M to reset the controller.

Then, calibrate it by following these steps:

Ensure that the triggers are in Hall Effect analog mode. Hold View + Menu + Xbox buttons in wired mode, then release them. The indicator light will flash slowly in white.

Make sure not to touch the triggers or thumbsticks, then press the A button. The indicator light will turn off.

Fully press LT and RT three times, and rotate both thumbsticks in full circles three times. Then press the A button. The indicator light will turn solid white, indicating that calibration is complete.

If the issue persists after calibrating and resetting the controller, email us at gamesir@support.com with your order number, store name, order screenshot, and a video showing the issue. Our support team will assist you.

There are a few potential causes. Try all troubleshooting steps below:

PID recognition may fail. While connected, hold Xbox button + M button for 3 seconds, then unplug and replug the controller to switch to the original PID and restore device recognition. If this does not work, hold Xbox button + Share button for 3 seconds while connected to force switching between Xinput and GIP modes.

Try changing USB ports (preferably use ports directly on the motherboard instead of chassis ports or USB hubs) or cables (ensure you use a verified functional data cable). Also confirm the controller runs a stable firmware version.

Known problematic firmware versions for G7 SE/HE: 6.33, 6.38, and 6.5.6, which cause connection-related issues.

To check your firmware version, open GameSir Nexus or Legacy GameSir Nexus.

In GameSir Nexus: Click the upward arrow at the top right labeled "Firmware Upgrade". In Legacy GameSir Nexus: Press the "Updates" button on the controller page to view your current firmware version.

Ensure that you have tried the previously mentioned troubleshooting steps:

Firmly plug in the controller without holding any buttons to ensure a full connection — the controller may produce an audible click when properly seated. Many users have encountered difficulty with this step, with some stating it requires significant force. One user returned three units, only to find the fourth worked after realizing it was never fully plugged in.

Once the controller is plugged in and your PC or Xbox is powered on, hold the controller’s Xbox button to turn it on.

Performing a full shutdown (also known as a power cycle) of the Xbox can often restore controller detection, especially if the controller works normally on a PC.

Plug the controller into the rear USB port of the console. With the console powered on, hold the console’s power button for more than 10 seconds until it fully shuts down and the power indicator turns off. Unplug the console’s power cord from the wall outlet for approximately 30 seconds, then press the console power button 10 times to fully discharge residual power. Keep the controller plugged into the rear port, power the console back on, and check if the controller responds.

Try performing the Stick & Trigger Calibration via the app or manually.

On the main menu, select the Test icon, then hold Mode button + Menu button to start calibration.

Or follow the manual steps shown in the attached video and written guide:

Enter calibration mode: While the controller is actively connected to your PC or Xbox, hold View button + Xbox button + Menu button until the Xbox button indicator flashes slowly in white.

Calibrate resting point: Do not touch LT, RT, left joystick or right joystick, then press the A button. The indicator will turn off.

Calibrate ranges: Fully press LT and RT to maximum travel three times. Rotate both joysticks to their full maximum angles three times. Press the A button once both operations are finished. The indicator will turn solid white to confirm calibration is complete.

Notes:

  1. Manual recalibration may succeed when in-app calibration fails.
  2. Perform calibration at a steady speed with gentle movements to prevent data collection errors.
  3. Calibration can be carried out via wired or wireless connection.
  4. Calibration only affects analog trigger mode and does not impact mouse click mode.

Calibration must be performed with the faceplate installed. Calibrating without the faceplate will produce incorrect range values.

  1. Try another USB cable and ensure the cable is fully inserted.

  2. Plug the controller into different PC USB ports. When connecting to a PC, use the rear ports directly on the motherboard.

  3. Press Win + X and select Device Manager. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers and check for drivers marked with a yellow warning icon. ① If any are found, right-click the driver and select Uninstall. ② If none are found, expand Xbox Peripherals and check for drivers with a yellow warning icon. ③ If any are found, right-click the driver and select Uninstall. ④ After uninstallation, click Action on the top toolbar and select Scan for hardware changes.

The extra buttons are "null inputs", meaning they have no assigned function until mapped. You can configure them via GameSir Nexus (available on the Xbox and Windows Stores), or by using the button sequence described in the manual.

Simplified instructions:

To assign a mapping: Hold Mode button + the remappable button until the indicator blinks, then press the target button you want to set.

To clear a mapping: Hold Mode button + the remappable button until the indicator blinks, then press the same remappable button again.

Feedback indicates that rotation speed during joystick calibration impacts controller responsiveness. Faster rotational movements during calibration yield higher sensitivity compared to slower rotations.

Basic sensitivity tuning tips: Raw Mode joystick trajectory delivers greater sensitivity than Circular Mode. You can also adjust joystick response curves: For reference, the second curve can be set to mild inversion (values below 50, such as 40) to increase sensitivity. Shifting the value toward the positive range reduces sensitivity.

Place the controller horizontally on a flat, stable surface. Hold the M button + Capture button until the Home indicator flashes red and blue. Calibration is finished once the Home indicator reverts to its original color.

Place the controller flat on a horizontal surface. Hold the Mode button + Share/Screenshot button for 3 seconds. The logo LED will flash orange and white alternately at a rapid rate.

Place the controller horizontally on a flat and stable surface. Hold the View button + A button + Home button until the Home indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Calibration finishes when the Home indicator reverts to its normal color.

The buttons you are testing are assigned to the Shift Layer rather than the Base Layer.

Tapping Shift Layer navigates to this layer, and the button test will display mappings configured for the Shift Layer. Tap Buttons to switch to the Base Layer. When you are on the Base Layer, the button test will show the corresponding base-layer mappings.

G7 Pro 1000Hz PC Guide:

  1. Set the Report Rate to 1000Hz.

  2. Fully close GameSir Nexus.

  3. After a short wait, the controller indicator will turn off and back on once, accompanied by a notification sound if system sounds are enabled. This signals a mode switch from GIP (Xbox Gaming Device) to Xinput (Xbox 360 Controller for Windows) in Device Manager. When you launch GameSir Nexus next time, a prompt will appear: "GameSir device detected, please press any key to switch to APP mode".

  4. If no mode switch occurs, hold Xbox button + Share button for 3 seconds to manually swap the controller’s input mode. Two indicator blinks mean the controller failed to finish the mode swap.

  5. If Steps 3 and 4 do not work, test different PC USB ports (rear motherboard ports perform best; avoid chassis front ports and USB hubs). If all ports fail, restart your PC or try a different cable. A powered USB hub may resolve this issue in some cases. It is also possible that none of your PC’s ports support this function; test on another PC if available.

  6. Once the controller enters the required Xinput mode, verify the polling rate using tools such as XinputTest or GamePadla Polling.

Always use the latest version of these tools for more accurate results.

Perform a function reset (hold View button + Mode button + Menu button; the Xbox button LED will blink three times to clear all profiles and settings) to resolve this issue.

You can also switch to another profile: hold Mode button + one of the face buttons. This restores navigation on your console. To repair the problematic profile, use one of the temporary workarounds below:

  1. Use a different controller to reset the profile or reassign buttons.
  2. Use the Xbox Mobile app as a remote to function as a second controller.
  3. Temporarily remap a button to the A button via the Xbox Accessories app.

  1. Basic Reset Hold the Home button + View button for 3 seconds. Note: This operation requires the controller to be connected to your phone.

  2. Full Data Clear Reset Hold the View button + Menu button + M button for 3 seconds. All configurations will be erased, and you will need to re-pair the controller. Note: This reset can be performed without connecting to a phone.

Firmware Update Guide Controller Firmware Update Launch GameSir Connect on your PC without connecting the controller first. Hold the Logo button + Menu button, then connect the controller to the PC via USB cable to activate manual firmware upgrade. This method applies to users who fail to complete automatic updates within GameSir Connect.

Dongle Firmware Update Follow these steps if you encounter wireless connection issues with the dongle:

  1. Turn off the controller by holding the Logo button for 5 seconds and unplug the dongle.
  2. Open GameSir Connect on your PC.
  3. Hold the pairing button on the dongle and plug the dongle into your PC simultaneously.
  4. An update window will pop up if performed correctly. Wait until the update process finishes.

If you are using the controller wirelessly, toggle the rear mode rocker switch to either Bluetooth or Dongle mode. This adjustment may also resolve issues even when the controller is connected via wire. If the device still fails to power on, press the reset pinhole button on the back of the controller.

Q. What is Continuous Trigger?

A. Normally, if you briefly press and release a button, the input stops immediately. If you hold the button, the input remains active until you release it. When Continuous Trigger is turned on, the input becomes a toggle: a short press registers a sustained hold state, and you must press the button again to cancel it.

This issue has been confirmed to occur when this function is enabled on the A button, for example.

Place the controller on a stable, flat surface. Hold M button + View button simultaneously, and the gyroscope will start calibrating automatically. During calibration, the indicator flashes red and blue alternately. Calibration finishes once the indicator reverts to its default lighting state.

If you cannot remap R4 or L4, first confirm you have completed the correct mapping steps.

  1. Press and hold the M button + L4 / R4 button simultaneously until the controller vibrates once. The indicator flashes slowly in white. Press the target button to assign, then press the L4 / R4 button again to save and exit.

Note: If you exit the setup without assigning any button, the mapping for L4 / R4 will be cleared.

If GameSir Nexus fails to detect your controller, reset the device in wired mode by holding View + Menu + M buttons simultaneously. This restores the controller’s detection mode.

The GameSir G8 and X5 Lite are not supported within the GameSir app on iOS. The controllers will not be detected in the app, and mapping functions as well as game library features cannot be used on iOS devices. Apple restricted controller mapping starting with iOS 13.4, making these features unavailable to iOS users.

You can still play titles with native controller support on iOS. iOS offers broad native compatibility for many games including Genshin Impact. The G8 and X5 Lite support plug-and-play operation for compatible games.

This issue occurs because AssistiveTouch is enabled on your iPhone.

  1. Tap the Settings icon on the iPhone home screen to open the Settings menu.
  2. Tap General, then select Accessibility.
  3. Tap AssistiveTouch.
  4. Toggle the switch from On to Off to disable the AssistiveTouch feature.

The controller supports a maximum input of 9 V / 3 A. Many mainstream mobile phones support pass-through charging.

Since the charger supplies power to the phone via the controller, both the phone and charger must support PD 2.0 or newer. The controller can negotiate a maximum power profile of 9 V / 3 A with the charger and phone. The actual charging power delivered to the phone is subject to the restrictions imposed by the phone’s system.

Please complete the following three troubleshooting steps:

  1. Confirm the connector is fully inserted. Remove the phone case if installed.
  2. Verify the OTG function is enabled in your phone settings (common for Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO, Realme and iQOO devices).

Try performing the Stick & Trigger Calibration via the app or manually:

HID Mode (the foundation of G-Touch) has inherent limitations imposed by its connection protocol. As a result, its performance is marginally inferior to other modes, and this behavior is normal. If this leads to in-game issues, we recommend switching to V-Touch mapping enabled.

G-Touch vs V-Touch Explanation In short, G-Touch directly transmits touch signals to the screen. When mapped, it behaves identically to physical finger contact. V-Touch is a system-level virtual simulation of screen touches.

We recommend using G-Touch whenever available for broader game compatibility.

To roll back firmware: Click the Other Version link on the firmware update page and select the previous stable firmware version.

Detailed operation path within the GameSir app:

  1. On the main page, tap the controller icon.
  2. Go to Firmware Upgrade > Other Version.
  3. Choose your target firmware version.

If you cannot activate screen touch and controller input simultaneously, confirm that you are using V-Touch Mode and turn on Intensive Mapping.

  1. Tap the floating red GameSir icon on your screen.
  2. Go to Settings > General Settings.
  3. Enable Intensive Mapping.

Step-by-Step Text Instructions

  1. Open the GameSir World app and select your target game. Below the game title, a mode selection bar will display one of three options: Native (HID Mode), Software Mapping (V-Touch), or Hardware Mapping (G-Touch).
  2. Tap the selection bar and choose Software Mapping (V-Touch).
  3. Enable Developer Options on your phone. The exact path differs by device, but the standard workflow is: Phone Settings > About Device > tap the build number seven times. Developer Options will then appear at the bottom of the Settings menu.
  4. Navigate to Developer Options and enable USB Debugging. If your device includes the USB Debugging (Security Settings) toggle, enable it as well.
  5. Select your preferred V-Touch activation method:
    • Wireless Activation: Enable Wireless Debugging within the Developer Options menu.
    • PC Activation: Use the official GameSir PC Activation Tool.
  6. If you select Wireless Activation: You will be redirected to the Wireless Debugging page. Tap the Wireless Debugging header to open its submenu, then select Pair device with pairing code. Enter the displayed 6-digit pairing code into the GameSir World app notification prompt and wait for activation to complete.
  7. Once activation finishes, launch the game through the GameSir World app — V-Touch mapping will now be active.

Important Note

Software Mapping (V-Touch) requires activation via either a PC tool or Wireless Debugging on a shared Wi-Fi network; it cannot function without completing one of these two activation workflows.

If you are using a Gmail account for login, try switching to an alternative email address if available.

Important reminder: An account is only required for cloud backup of screen mappings. Login is not mandatory if you encounter persistent login difficulties.

For iPhone and iOS users: Apple restricted custom mapping features starting from iOS 13.4. Accordingly, the game library and mapping functions are no longer supported. When gaming on iOS, pair the controller following the recommended procedure and launch your game directly without opening the GameSir app. The GameSir app can still be used solely for firmware updates and controller configuration adjustments.

iOS imposes specific compatibility requirements. Controllers require either an MFi license or Bluetooth connectivity to achieve full functionality. Most GameSir controllers do not carry MFi certification and therefore lack full access under iOS. The X3 Pro serves as an exception. As a premium model, it supports Bluetooth connection to enable complete compatibility with iOS.

Overview of Available Functions

  1. Recommended Solution Access preset configurations created and shared by other users. You may also share your custom setups after logging into the GameSir app.

  2. Add Button Map the joysticks, individual buttons, or even multi-button combinations.

  3. Additional Functionality Inside the layout editor, select any mapped element. Tap the ⚙️ icon to assign extra features to that binding.

  4. Click Mode

  • Normal: Simulates a single tap on the screen
  • Separated press & release: Triggers a tap when you press the button and another when you release it
  • DownClick: Simulates an instant touch and lift action
  1. Turbo Mode Generates rapid repeated screen taps. The turbo speed can be adjusted.

  2. Skill Wheel Mode Link the assigned button to the left or right joystick (or both) to operate a skill wheel.

  3. Cast Cancel Mode Designed for MOBA games that support drag-to-cast cancellation. Map this function to the cancel zone to interrupt attacks or skills.

  4. One-button Macro Trigger a sequence of timed screen taps automatically. Ideal for executing high-DPS combos in gacha games.

  5. Gesture Mode Record touch inputs, swipes and other motions, then bind the recorded gesture to a controller button. The placement of the virtual button does not impact gesture playback.

  6. Cloned Mode Duplicates the mapped function. Both outputs activate simultaneously on button press or release.

  7. Sliding Mode Set directional sliding gestures with customizable movement speed; looping is supported.

  8. Click Range Mode Configure a button to cover and activate a broad region instead of a single small spot on screen.

  • Smart Touch: Simulates imprecise touches within the mapped button area
  • Overlay transparency adjustment for virtual mapping controls

Notes: Touch Mapping functions (G-Touch / V-Touch) are unavailable on iOS devices including iPhone and iPad due to system restrictions. However, most natively controller-supported iOS titles such as Genshin Impact support plug-and-play without extra mapping activation. Compared with Android, iOS features broader native controller compatibility across most mobile games.

Feature Summary

  1. Stick Curves Stick curves define how the controller converts physical stick movement into input signals. Linear curve means input equals output directly (1 input = 1 output). Other curves deliver different response characteristics. Adjust based on personal preference.

  2. Deadzone This parameter controls how much stick movement is required to trigger input registration.

  • Initial: The distance you need to move the stick away from the center before input is detected. A higher value requires larger stick movement.
  • Max: The distance from the outer edge needed to reach full (100%) input. A lower value achieves maximum input with less travel.
  1. Anti-deadzone Designed to compensate for fixed in-game deadzones in games without native deadzone options.
  • Initial: Adjusts the starting input value once the stick passes the initial deadzone. A higher value produces a stronger initial signal. Improper configuration may appear similar to stick drift.
  • Max: Sets an upper limit for stick output. With a lower value, the stick cannot reach 100% input even when pushed fully to the edge.
  1. Hair Trigger
  • Static: Any trigger movement within the defined range registers as a full 100% pull. More versatile for general use.
  • Adaptive: Trigger registers as 100% once entering the range, yet instantly drops to 0 upon minimal release. Works well for semi-automatic firing, but less ideal for full-auto weapons and aiming down sights.
  1. Continuous Trigger
  • Off: Standard default trigger behavior.
  • On: Acts as a toggle. Press once to hold the input; press again to release.

Firmware Update Guide for Controller & Dongle Dongle Firmware Update

  1. Standard update method: Connect the controller to the dongle, launch GameSir Connect, and click the Update Firmware button.
  2. Forced update method: Keep holding the dongle’s sync button while plugging the dongle into your PC. If performed correctly, the dongle LED will remain off. Keep GameSir Connect open; the software will automatically install the latest firmware.

Controller Firmware Update

  1. Standard update method: Connect the controller to your PC via cable, then click the Update Firmware button within GameSir Connect.
  2. Forced update method: Hold the Mode button + X button + B button while plugging the controller into your PC. Keep GameSir Connect open to flash the newest firmware.
