FAQ: Questions about G8 Plus

Q1: When I play things like PS remote play/ emulator games/ cloud gaming, the input on G8+ doesn't work, what should I do?

A:When using G8+, for playing on Xbox/ PS remote play, make sure you're on the right pairing mode (DS4), even if you're using an Android phone: 

Q2: My G8+ doesn't connect to my device/ there's nothing in the Bluetooth search list, and the indicator light just keeps blinking slowly.

A: If the controller doesn't appear on the Bluetooth device list, make sure to enter the re-paring mode by holding the pairing button nearing the charging port for 2 seconds, in which the indicator light should be blinking fast ( 4 times a second ).

   

Q3: What should I do if the keys on G8 Plus seem to be pressed multiple times once I press and the red light is blinking?

A: The turbo function is on. Please double-tap the M button to turn off the turbo. 

Q4: I’m experiencing stick drift or other problems on stick and triggers on my G8 Plus, what do I do?
A: Please try Stick & Trigger Calibration according to the manual:

Q5: I can only connect G8+ (G8 Plus) to my PC using DS4 mode and it doesn´t work in any game?

A: The Xinput mode on Bluetooth is restricted so the DS4 mode almost becomes the only option left in order to connect to a PC, but there is no DS4 native support for many games. Solution: Launch games through Steam so you can play games through Steam mapping.

Q6: The vibration on G8+ (G8 Plus) doesn't work on apps like PS remote play, is that normal?

A: Make sure that you're on the DS4 input mode on Android and iOS devices. And here's the compatibility list that tested by our engineers. If you're having troubles getting that vibration to work, we always suggest try another app or emulator:

4. Does it have a battery?

Yes, it has a total of 1000mAh battery, with 500mAh in each side of the controller.

5. What are the special features of the sticks?

11. Can I change the button layout?

Yes, by holding  for 2 seconds, you can interchange the key value of face buttons. You can also make adjustments using the GameSir app on Android devices.

12. Can I change the stick cap?

Yes, the faceplate, stick cap, and face button cap of the G8+ controller are all detachable. You can change the appearance and customize your own gaming style.

13. What are the relationships between different modes and the Home indicator?
